Front Foyer

Many times a family will gather in our front foyer as they wait for others to arrive. The foyer connects to the Oak Suite which is often made available to families for private services and gathering prior to entering the main chapel.
Crocus Suite

The Crocus Suite is a wonderfully furnished lounge that is intended for families to use during a time of viewing. It is connected to the private viewing area by French doors in order to accommodate several friends and family to gather comfortably.
Family Arrangement Room
In the most recent renovation and addition in 1995, Brockie Donovan added a large family gathering room where family may meet with their funeral director to discuss the details of a service. The large table allows for many individuals to gather and feel included in the funeral service arrangements. It is here that memories and special tributes to a loved one are often remembered and added to make a service truly special.
Chapel

At the heart of our funeral home is the chapel. With its grand foyer and entrance, it is elegant, yet warm and inviting. The chapel seating is traditional with spacious oak pews built back in 1964. For family and friends it is a welcoming place of worship and celebration when one we love has gone. The chapel is fully accessible for physically challenged visitors and has wide aisles that lead to seating for 250. A screened family area has been specially designed for privacy at the front of the chapel. The large canopy at the front and side of the funeral home provide guests and family alike with shelter from the elements. During the chapel renovation of 2006, a state of the art audio/visual system was added including a projector and automated drop down screen for video tribute presentations.
Oak Suite

The Brockie Donovan logo incorporates the oak leaf because we feel that the oak is a symbol of strength within our community. The Oak Suite received its name due to the fact that it is part of the original funeral home built in 1964. Renovated in 1995, this area is now primarily a comforting gathering area for family. Set up with a large sofa and armchairs, it is our wish that this area be as comfortable as your living room. It even has a television for those who wish to pass the time. To meet changing needs, the Oak Suite can be converted to a private chapel for a small service or to an overflow area where the service can be viewed on television live from the main chapel.
The George Brockie Fellowship Centre

One of the most important moments in a funeral celebration is the opportunity to share food, refreshments and memories with friends and family.
The George Brockie Fellowship Centre is located within the funeral home and is fully accessible to the physically challenged. The airy room is furnished with overstuffed easy chairs, and traditional dining tables. A large coatroom, generous powder rooms and telephone station provide the conveniences of home for family and friends. The Fellowship Centre is also available for private seminars and meetings.
